Hogwarts Legacy Has Shiny Pokemon, But They’re Really Beasts

The new Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy secretly contains some very fantastical, but very hard-to-find Shiny Beasts, including the adorable little Puffskein. So whether you’re enjoying early access to Hogwarts Legacy or waiting for the full release date, you can split classes and quests by being quite the Pokemon trainer.

We already know the locations of all the beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, but it turns out that if you dig a little deeper, each has a shiny variant that you can add to your collection and nurture in your own Hogwarts Legacy Room of Requirement.

From Puffskeins to Graphorns to Fwoopers, shiny versions of every Hogwarts Legacy beast are hard to come by, but they are available, as long as you keep looking around the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the nearby town of Hogsmeade.

Once you catch them, they’re added to your personal nursery where you can feed them and play with them – a nice way to relax after a long day learning all those Hogwarts Legacy spells. So if you want to be the greatest (wizard or witch) like no one has ever been, put on your baseball cap and head to the world of Hogwarts Legacy to collect these brilliant hidden creatures.

Twitter User “JayCrotty” share an image of a shiny Puffskein, which glows bright yellow and has a special symbol on its bestiary index. They also show footage of the adorable little creature being captured. At the moment, it doesn’t look like the Shiny variants have any special properties over the standard beasts, but they offer another reason to explore the Hogwarts Legacy map to see if you can catch them all.

Alternatively, you might want to meet all of the Hogwarts Legacy characters or familiarize yourself with the full list of Hogwarts Legacy challenges, so you know what you’re up against once the game hits its full global release.
