Xbox Game Pass Sensation high in life released its fourth patch this week, and while most of them focus on some general fixes, we also have new “Quality” and “Performance” default modes on Xbox Series X and S.
As of this patch, the default mode for High on Life is known as “Performance Mode”, which runs up to 1440p at 60fps. A new quality mode is also available, aiming for up to 4K at 30 frames per second.
Here is the summary :
- “Updated default visual quality settings, now called performance mode. It is designed to run at 60 fps with dynamic resolution (up to 1440p on Series X, up to 1080p on Series S). “
- “Added a new quality mode that provides enhanced visual quality targeting 30 frames per second. This works at dynamic resolution up to 4k on Series X and 1440p on Series S.”
As you probably know, High on Life became one of the biggest Xbox Game Pass releases of all time when it arrived in December last year, and while it has cooled since then, it still turns out to be a huge achievement for the game. Skip the service and developer Squanch Games.
