HoYoVerse provided moveset details for another Honkai Star Way character. He continues his trend of focusing on the people aboard the Xianzhou Luofu. This time the focus is on a five star Honkai Star Way character named Yanqing. He is an Ice type in the path of the Hunt.
Yanqing is a lieutenant of Xianzhou Luofu assigned to help Jing Yuan lead the ship. As you’d expect from someone on the hunt, he’s an aggressive character. His moveset is damage-focused. Many of his attacks increase his speed or make his critical hits more effective. Since fighter characters also target individual enemies, people shouldn’t expect AOE damage from him. He joined the same boat as Tingyun and Fu Xuan.
Here is the full Yanqing Honkai Star Way official moveset, along with descriptions of its traces and abilities.
- Cold Light, Cold Blade (Basic Attack): During a basic attack, Yanqing attacks an enemy, inflicting cold DAMAGE.
- Drake’s Stone Edge (Ability): After releasing the ability, Yanqing remotely controls his sword to attack an enemy, inflicting cold damage to the enemy and activating empathic sword link for 1 turn.
- Frozen Blessing (Trace): After activating this Trace, when Yanqing attacks, he inflicts additional Ice DMG to enemies with Ice weakness.
- Heads Up (Trace): After activating this Trace, when Empati Sword Link is active, Yanqing’s RES effect is increased.
- Steppe Steel (Trace): After activating this Trace, when a CRIT Hit activates, Yang’s SPD increases.
- Swallow’s Pluvious Pursuit (Ultimate): After using Ultimate, Yanqing’s CRIT Rate increases. If Yanqing is under the effect of Empathic Sword Link, Yanqing’s CRIT DMG is increased for 1 turn. Yanqing then travels with his sword and deals ice damage to an enemy.

Honkai Star Way is in development for PC and mobile, with the final closed beta starting February 10, 2023.
