Metroid Prime is Samus’ first-person 3D adventure. It’s one of the best-selling Metroid games of all time and the long-awaited remaster is finally here. The game is a fan favorite and after years of rumors and teases, the remaster’s stealth has dropped as Metroid Dread Samus’ Fusion Suit Phantom Cloak ability. The costume is just one of many the bounty hunter has worn over the years and Metroid Prime has plenty to wear, but is the Fusion costume in Metroid Prime Remaster?
Can you get the Fusion Suit in Metroid Prime Remastered?
Throughout Metroid Prime Remastered, Samus will have access to various outfit and item upgrades. You’ll start the game in his famous yellow, orange, and red Power Suit, but like all other Metroid games, the suit will eventually need to be upgraded. Along the way, you’ll unlock the Varia, Gravity, and Phazon suits, as each is needed to progress through the story. The Fusion Suit, however, is a bit of a mystery at the time of writing. To find out if one of the suit upgrades in Metroid Prime Remastered is the Fusion Suit, we first need to go back to the original game and the Wii version.

Metroid Prime Fusion Suit
In the original Metroid Prime, Samus was able to wear the Fusion Suit throughout the game. To obtain it, you first had to have Metroid Fusion on Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Metroid Prime. You had to connect GBA to GameCube with a GBA cable while Metroid Fusion was on Game Boy. This connected the two games and unlocked the Fusion Suit after beating Metroid Prime.

Fusion Metroid Prime Wii Suit
The Fusion Suit can also be obtained in Metroid Prime for the Wii. However, unlocking works in a slightly different way. Once the game is over, you need to save your progress and go to the Bonus Gallery in the Extras section. There you will be able to buy Fusion Suit with credits.
Metroid Prime Remastered
It’s unclear if you can get the Fusion Suit in Metroid Prime Remastered. However, there might be a way to do this in the future. If Metroid Fusion was released for Game Boy Advance on Nintendo Switch, it might allow you to unlock the suit after beating either game. There might also be an option to use a Samus Amiibo to unlock the costume later.
