Solasta: Crown of the Magister is an old school role-playing game based on the rules of Dungeons & Dragons. It started in early access at the end of 2020, but the finished release will be available from 27 May 2021. In a blog post, the developer explains how extensive the game will be.
This is what Solasta offers for the release
Because compared to the version published in spring 2021, a lot will change. What exactly did the developer explain not only in a blog entry, but also together with the announcement of the release date.
- Campaign: The story is complete and you can play through Solasta.
- Nebenquests: There will be a number of other side quests, one of which is said to be particularly challenging.
- Maximum level: Instead of level 8, you can reach level 10 when the game is released and also use level 5 spells.
- Soundtrack: The OST of the game will be topped up with additional orchestral songs.
- Steam Workshop: You will be able to easily share your own dungeons via the Steam workshop.
How long does the game last? The developer states that the combination of main and secondary tasks should occupy you for up to 40 hours. But also explains that the time can vary from player to player.
What about the scores? Anyone who has already played the Early Access version should be able to continue using their previous saved games. However, the developer recommends starting over, as a lot of changes have been made to the previous content.
Is there more content coming?
Seventh grade: A first DLC is already certain. After the launch of the game, the wizard will appear as free additional content and increase the number of available classes from six to seven.
Beyond that, however, no further content is to be promised. Although it is quite possible that the level limit will be raised in the future, this is not guaranteed. Initially, the focus will be on updates to the Dungeon Maker as well as bug fixes and balancing updates.
