However, the launch of the new season was not without problems. Almost immediately, Xbox Series X|S users started reporting performance issues, especially with 120Hz playback. This also seems to extend to the in-game campaign, where players are also experiencing performance issues. performance.

This is a particularly tricky point, especially since the update doesn’t add anything major to the campaign side of the game other than a new menu image, as seen in the top tweet above. Fortunately, the team has already recognized these issues and is working to resolve them.

In addition to these performance fixes, there will soon be more for Xbox Series X|S players. Ray-tracing features arrived for Halo Infinite on PC with Season 3, and those same visual options will soon be available to current-gen Xbox players.
