Available since March 15 in digital version, GTA 5 will be available in a few days, on April 12 in physical version on our PS5 and Xbox Series X. As a reminder, this new version of the game brings a graphic improvement to GTA 5, but also to GTA Online which is included in this physical version. Both games can now display 4K resolution, greater fluidity, but also Ray-Tracing according to the 3 different graphics modes.

  • Fidelity Mode : Native 4K (3840p x 2160p), 30 FPS and Ray Tracing
  • Performance mode : 4K Upscale and 60 FPS
  • RT Performance Mode : 4K Upscale, Ray Tracing and targeting 60 FPS

This remastering of GTA 5, but also of GTA Online is rather successful without being exceptional, we clearly see a difference controller in hand. Whether it’s 4K which makes the image sharper, but also the 60fps which does a lot of good, both games are much more enjoyable to play. Not to mention that other improvements are also in the game, such as an improvement in the vegetation, but also the explosions and smoke that have resulted, or even better lighting effects, which sometimes are a little too exaggerated, make our much more beautiful adventures than with our previous versions. If you’re wondering if there’s a difference between the PC versions and those on next-gen consoles, the latter are the better looking versions.

Additionally, GTA Online has new content exclusive to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. You can now drive around in 5 new cars, but also customize them in the brand new HSW Hao garage in the LS car show, allowing you to increase the performance of certain vehicles. In addition, new races and a weekly time trial reserved for vehicles with HSW upgrades have been introduced.
