Since the success of Fortnite, the Battle Royale has multiplied and today takes an important place in the game libraries of players. In just a few years, the genre, however new, has already passed through almost every universe. Indeed, the Battle Royale has only rarely ventured on the side of the spaghetti western and it is moreover for this reason that Team GRIT decides to ride colt by hand on this desert terrain.
As you can see, GRIT, the brand new production of Team GRIT, offers you to take part in fights between a hundred cowboys on a single map. A map which is obviously composed of ghost towns, desert plains and oil fields, which of course reminds us of the universe of Rockstar Games’ latest production, namely Red Dead Redemption II.
The title, like the models of the genre, will therefore be a free-to-play production that will allow players to go solo, in duo or in a squad to defeat other cowboys with the easy trigger, but the proposal will land all the same with some new features. Indeed, Team GRIT’s Battle Royale takes with it a card system, Poker cards, which allows you to obtain various bonuses, starting with additional care. Finally, GRIT will also offer players the opportunity to ride faithful steeds, ideal for crossing the gigantic playing area on offer, but also a particularly complete arsenal made up of a total of 20 different weapons, and a duel system allowing you to return to the life after elimination. This system is undoubtedly reminiscent of the Gulag from Call of Duty: Warzone.
Everything will be available in Early Access from this spring 2021. The official release, meanwhile, will be drawn in September. But be careful, don’t go too fast.
