During the Genshin Impact special program for version 3.5, HoYoVerse showed when players can expect the new update. The name of the patch is Windblume’s Breath, which is the name of the flagship event. The Genshin Impact version 3.5 release date is March 1, 2023.
Windblume’s Breath will be the new Mondstadt-focused event, which also features characters Sumeru Collei, Cyno, and Tighnari. Shortly after arriving in Mondstadt, Collei discovers a prophecy and, by helping her solve it, the traveler learns of her past. As a reminder, Collei originally appeared in the webtoon where you can see her adventures leading up to the game. There will also be a new Hangout event with Faruzan. Additionally, Caribert will be the new Archon Quest. Dainsleif will be there, which means the story will focus on the plot of Khaenri’ah.
Although the stream did not indicate a specific date for the next update, the Battle Pass and Banners for 3.4 will end on February 28, 2023. This means that the next version is expected to launch on March 1, 2023. The version current, 3.4, started on January 18, 2023. Its main event is “The Exquisite Night Chimes”, which is the Lantern Rite Festival 2023. This update is also the start of playable versions of Alhaitham and Yaoyao.
