Genshin Impact: Should we summon Shenhe? Guide to the New Queen Cryo

To celebrate the release of version 2.4 of Genshin Impact, 2 new characters are available. One of them, Shenhe, is a 5-star Cryo character, who wields the spear. Does it deserve your prime-gems? • Long press: Orders the talismanic spirit to deal area cryo damage.
• Frozen Pennage: When a normal, charged, or diving attack, skill, or elemental rampage inflicts DGT Cryo to an enemy, inflicted DGT increases based on Shenhe’s current ATK. The effects of Frozen Pennage disappear at the end of its duration or after activating a certain number of stacks. By using a frozen pennage with a long press instead of a single press, its duration and the number of stacks generated increase. When an attack of DGT Cryo hits several enemies at the same time, stacks are consumed according to the number of enemies hit. Icy pennage totals are calculated independently for all characters on the team.

Deliverance of the divine damsel

Unleashes the power of the talismanic spirit, allowing it to move freely in this plane of existence to inflict DGT Cryo zone. The talismanic spirit then creates a field which decreases the Cryo RES enemies, and inflicts DGT Cryo continuously to enemies inside

With Shenhe, your goal to make it effective is to have the most attack possible. So go ideally on a mixture between 2 sets: 2 pieces of the set Nostalgic reminiscence, and 2 pieces of the set Gladiator’s curtain, in order to have twice the 18% attack bonus.

On the weapon side, as always, the 5 star weapon available in the current weapon banner, The Calamity Chest is perfect for her. Regarding the 4 stars, the Lance de Favonius and the Scion of victory can be good choices.

Should we summon Shenhe?

Shenhe has had some pretty complicated weeks lately. Lots of leaks, a lot of disappointed people, fairly minimal changes … in short, we were scared enough for her. And in the end … she’s a very, very, very interesting character, as long as you have good friends for her.

Shenhe is a great support for characters Cryo. If you have for example Ayaka, you will see its damage increase stratospheric. It can almost make you forget that you don’t have constellations on some characters. Its principle is simple, the more attack you have with it, the more your characters will benefit from it.

However, one of the big concerns of Shenhe in our opinion, it is because the accumulations of Ice Pennage are much too short.
