The Genshin Impact version 3.5 update will retroactively reward players with Intertwined Fates for completing each of the Archon quests. That’s a total of over 20 free wishes if we include the interlude chapters that appear between the main story beats. So, if you’ve been following the anime game’s main story, there should be at least two ten draws waiting for you when Genshin Impact 3.5 launches next month.
Today’s special live stream also provided a ton of additional information on what’s coming in 3.5, including the upcoming Genshin Impact character banner and new events, but we all know the ears of all Genshin players perk up when free wishes are mentioned.
This new Archon Quest reward system will be added to the Guide section of the Adventurer’s Handbook, and Intertwined Fates aren’t the only items that will be given out. Players will also receive books to level up, ores to upgrade weapons, and essence to upgrade artifacts.
Only one Intertwined Fate will be awarded per quest, but this change will still be useful for those who want to wish for Dehya or Cyno in the first half of patch 3.5, or Ayaka, Shenhe, or Mika in the second half.
Dehya is a popular five-star Pyro character, while Ayaka and Shenhe haven’t had banners for a while. In fact, this will be the first iteration of Shenhe since its initial release in January 2022.
Honestly, I would suggest skipping Dehya unless you absolutely love it, because HoYoverse also announced that it will be added to the standard banner, starting with version 3.6. There’s no Geo option on this banner yet, but for reasons we may never know, they’re adding another Pyro Claymore character to Dehya.
And, as always, new Genshin Impact Primogem codes were also revealed during the live stream, helping you save money or grab additional opportunities to lure Hu Tao and Yelan before Genshin Impact version 3.4 ends.
