Announced a few days ago, the “Colors of Fortune” event has been available this morning in Genshin Impact. We therefore take stock of the latter in our walkthrough of the game.
This event is the first available with version 1.3 of Genshin Impact. This will ask you to go take pictures of specific colors. For that, we will help you find the perfect places to have the photo you need, and also see together the rewards that will be offered in exchange for your photos. We will also continue to update our Genshin Impact guide with all the events, quests and characters from version 1.3 of the game.
How long does the event last?
It will be available from February 3 until February 10. You will be able to redeem the rewards until February 13, 2021.
Start by going to Port de Liyue and talk to Ji Tong, represented by a camera icon on your map (You can directly locate it through the “Event” menu). Talk to him and he will then give you a Strange daguerreotype, which will allow you to take pictures for the event. Consider equipping it by going to your inventory.
The principle of the event is simple in itself: You will have to take a photo that corresponds to one of the colors requested by Ji Tong. You can take MAXIMUM 10 photos per day. So be careful not to spoil your shots. Photos are dependent on the weather, the time of day and everything around them. We will now list the requested subjects and the places to take your photos. Note that the camera is quite finicky, and it will sometimes take the color of the background rather than that of the object you are photographing.
Collectible item in red color
Go near the Village de Qingce, more precisely east of the teleporter, to find Jueyun peppers. Take a picture of these in daylight to get a red picture. However, the camera being completely “strange” … you will also get photos of other colors. Then take other red objects, such as apples and dawn chrysanthemums at Domaine de l’Aurore to have at least the 5 colors, and if necessary, exchange a duplicate photo for another with a friend. Once 10 photos have been taken, return the photos to Ji Tong to recover 60 Primo-gemmes, as well as a random reward between 12 Hero’s Lessons, 24 Mystic Empowerment Ore or 120,000 Mora.
