This isn’t the first time Kojima Productions has released Death Stranding 2 avatars. The studio previously celebrated its seventh anniversary with a special set of Death Stranding 2 BB Pod avatars. It seems to be a draw.
Development and release plans for Death Stranding 2 have been kept under wraps. The game, which is only confirmed for PS5, started working on motion capture last year.
Death Stranding 2, which is a working title for the game, is expected to release in 2024/2025. Actor Norman Reedus previously told fans not to expect anything until 2024 at the earliest.
It also means we’re unlikely to see a reveal this year, at least not during the rumored PlayStation showcase this summer. But in the meantime, fans can get the freebies and start sporting Death Stranding 2 avatars.
