Fortnite accolades have been a part of battle royale for a while, but you might not have realized what they are because they’re rarely referred to by their real name. Kudos are little icons and prizes that appear at the top of the screen during a Fortnite match when you accomplish certain things, and since they give you bonus XP, it’s useful to know what you’re up to. must do to receive them. . You’ll automatically earn Fortnite Commendations as you play, for completing various achievements in Battle Royale, and you’ll know you’ve earned one when a notification appears at the top of your screen like the one above. There are plenty of potential Fortnite accolades to earn, which accumulate over the course of a match, and while the following list isn’t exhaustive, it should give you an idea of the kinds of things to aim for:

- Ready for battle – First player to reach maximum health and shields.
- Researchers Guardians – First player in the match to collect a weapon from an eliminated player
- up early – First player to pick up a legendary item
- gift of life – First player in the match to reset a player
- To go out – First player to be eliminated
- augmentation specialist – 3 Fortnite boosts activated in one match
- individual digits – 5 Elims in a match
- two digits – 10 Elims in a match

Unfortunately, there’s no way to track how many Fortnite Commendations you’ve earned in total, but you can get a summary at the end of each match. When the game is over, follow the match stats indicator at the bottom of the screen to see a summary of your match stats, as well as a list of any accolades you’ve earned during the match.
