After we reported on Fortnite’s Freaky Spring on Tuesday, which started with Update 16.10, players can look forward to more content soon.
For the event, the makers of Epic Games are planning a tournament of the same name, in which the best participants can grab a brand new free skin before it even appears in the shop. This is the Webster duck, which you can already see in detail in the cover picture of this message.
If you want to take your chance too, you have to take part in the “Freaky Spring Cup” on April 2nd, 2021 between 6pm and 9pm. In this duo competition you have a total of three hours to collect the most points with your teammate in ten games.
If your duo is in the end of 1.125 or higher, you can look forward to the free Webster skin. All other participants have to wait for the shop release for the time being.
According to Epic Games, however, you have to meet two requirements in order to play in the tournament. Accordingly, your account does not only have to have reached level 30 – activation of two-step authentication is also necessary. You can find more details about the setup on the website.
By the way, Webster will have a bigger role in Fortnite in the coming days take in. On April 1st, for example, a legendary assignment awaits you, with which you can unlock the exclusive pickaxe “Schnabelschläger”.
