Fortnite, the players’ favorite battle royale, has just launched a new season inspired by cyberpunk. Unfortunately, PC gamers will need to have Windows 10 to access it, as older versions of the operating system are no longer supported.
Epic Games, the studio behind the famous Battle Royale Fortnite has recently announced that the game will no longer be compatible with Windows 7 and 8 operating systems. The studio confirmed this news on Twitter via the game’s support account.

Luckily, for those who can’t update their version of Windows, there is an alternative solution. Players can use the GeForce Now streaming service to continue playing. This possibility allows players to continue playing Fortnite on their current PC via cloud gaming.. So they can get the most out of their keyboard-mouse kit!

In addition to this announcement, Epic Games has just released Fortnite Season 4 Episode 2, which introduces new features including a futuristic cyberpunk-themed city called megalopolis and new game updates, including the addition of the Iconic character from Attack on Titan, Eren Yeager. Players also have access to new vehicles like the Rogue Bike and the Nitro Drifter car. A new gameplay mechanic also allows players to grind Tony Hawk-style rails through Mega City.
Of course, there are other ways to play Fortnite, including son Android, PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. However, players will have to adapt to slightly different experiences compared to the game’s original medium. With these exciting updates, Fortnite Season 4 promises to be an intense adventure for players.
