Game news Forspoken: content soon to be revealed for the next Square Enix game?
Announced and first unveiled during the PlayStation Showcase in June 2020, Forspoken is an open-world adventure game produced by the studio Luminous Productions (Final Fantasy XV). If he has not been talked about much since, the title should soon give his news.
When it comes time to take stock of what is known about Forspoken, there is little information. First named Project Athia, the title is developed by Luminous Studio which is one of the Square Enix studios. It uses its own engine for the game, which is an open world mixing modern and medieval settings. The player takes the role of Freya, who seeks to master her powers in a hostile environment. This is interpreted by Ella Balinksa, who indicates that some content on Forspoken is pending:
An Instagram post that comes right after Sony announced a PlayStation Showcase. It will take place this Thursday 09 September at 10 p.m. on Youtube and Twitch, will last about forty minutes and will address the future of the PlayStation 5 as well as its titles. Also note: if Square Enix participates in the Tokyo Game Show at the end of the month, Forspoken does not seem to do part of the studio program.
Forspoken is due out next year only on PlayStation 5. The Square Enix title is a two-year limited exclusive, and is therefore expected within 24 months of the PS5 release on PC and Xbox Series.
