According to the latest rumors, a Final Fantasy Tactics would be in preparation. Towards a remastering or a new work? Many questions still arise.
fantasy endgame tactics is a tactical role-playing game released in 1997 on Playstation. This game offered players to travel the world and recruit the best characters to accompany you on your adventure. You were able to develop your team by choosing the evolution of each member thanks to a very complete profession system.
This game is what we could consider as the genesis of the tactical games we know today (Fire Emblem, Triangle Strategy, Tactics Ogre…). Although it is not a “real” Final Fantasy, it had the merit of offering a qualitative experience to players. Exciting gameplay, skillful character management, a deep and mastered plot… In short, had everything to please.
After this success, this license is available in various games from Game Boy Advance to Nintendo DS. Thus three titles appeared following this one. But since 2008, nothing, players still aspire to a new title. However, a ray of hope reappears with very interesting information.
Final Fantasy Tactics soon on our consoles?
jason screams recently gave some important information about Final Fantasy Tactics. The latter claims that a new game was coming. He does not know what it is really about, but he is convinced that the license will return to our consoles.
Additionally, a leak from Nvidia seemed to indicate that a Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered was in development. But that’s not all, because an anonymous, on Reddit, announced that he had been invited by Eidos-Montréal to a test session on a Final Fantasy Tactics game.
Afterwards, it would be quite possible to see a remastered version of one of the five previous works released, including the Lion War. However, there is nothing to refute the idea that a new work is being prepared. Strategy games are very popular right now and Fire Emblem is enjoying huge popularity all over the world.
