Call of Duty: Warzone 2

There are only a few days left until the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Fans have been patiently awaiting the Warzone sequel for some time now. The new free-to-play battle royale title moves the action to the city of Al Mazrah, located in the United Republic of Adal.

With the release date set for November 16th, which is next Wednesday, you’d think it wouldn’t be too long before players could get started. However, the newly revealed file sizes for the game could mean the opposite as they are pretty massive!

Storage space

As is now being reported, Warzone 2.0 will take up an enormous amount of storage space on both PC and consoles. According to Twitter user @ALumia_Italia, the game will need massive amounts to launch on Xbox 115,62 GB, so it won’t be a fast download. So you should start it early while you’re doing something else if you want to play the game as quickly as possible.

For PC users, the situation is even slightly worse. PCGamesN has the system requirements for Warzone 2.0 published and reported that the game requires at least 125 GB of storage space! For some, this could certainly be a reason to get a new hard drive.

As annoying as it is that the upcoming title will eat up everyone’s storage space, it’s unsurprising given that the original Warzone is also huge.

Currently, the game takes up around 175GB on PC, so it looks like the sequel will at least be slimmer than that. By the way, the first season of Modern Warfare II will also start on the release day of Warzone 2.0. So CoD fans have a few events to look forward to.
