It’s fair to say that for many of us, if we weren’t playing the Resident Evil 4 Remake over the weekend we were probably playing the Diablo 4 beta instead! Unsurprisingly, the short trial period proved extremely popular.
In fact, Diablo 4 is even talked about in some circles like other potential contender for Game of the Year. What an amazing start to 2023 we’ve had with all these GOTY contestants – it’s only March!
“If Blizzard can create an entire game with this level of evocative storytelling and gripping combat, wrapped in non-stop service that my friends and I can play for hundreds of hours, it’s not hard to imagine Diablo IV bring home many games of the year.” “. award later this year.
“Although this beta weekend only includes an Act 1 level cap and three of the classes, so far it has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. ‘a final.” review, but I’m already impressed with the stellar dark storytelling, the best combat in a Diablo game to date, and a live service foundation that aims to chart a solid future for the beloved ARPG.
Now that the beta is over, we can’t wait to hear your verdict on what you’ve played so far. How would you rate Diablo 4 right now, how likely are you to buy the game, and how do you feel about it compared to other Diablo titles?
Let us know what you think in the polls and comments below, and don’t forget that Diablo 4 launches for Xbox (unfortunately, not Game Pass) on June 6, 2023, with pre-orders already available on the Xbox Store.
