Like every year, there is this competition between video games to see which is the best valued in its calendar year, with this, we can assess the average quality of each year. This year we are not having too many things, but we do have some very good ones. And as expected, Elden Ring leads this valuation ranking on Metacritic, being the clear winner this year for the moment.

There are things to clarify, and it is that the average Metacritic score is not very reliable with all games, sometimes the community tends to inflate video game scores so that their favorite game is the best according to this ranking. Possibly, this year it is happening with some games, but it does not seem to be the case of Elden Ring, because with a note of 96 it is quite far from all the best rated games.
