After Microsoft had already had great success at that time by offering its Game Pass very cheaply for a while, EA is now imitating it. EA Play, formerly known as EA Access, is still around until March 9th for 99 cents.
This is how you get the cheap subscription
Conditions: EA not only offers its service via its own Origin client, but also on consoles and Steam. You can take advantage of the offer, no matter which platform you want to use it on. The only exception is that it doesn’t count for existing customers, it only counts for new subscribers.
The costs: The first month costs exactly 99 cents. For each subsequent one, however, you pay the regular price of just under four euros per month. If you want to quit after the first month, you should also remember to cancel the subscription or deactivate the automatic renewal before it expires.
EA Play starts at the end of August on Steam, you still know it as Origin Access.
