There’s a new Dying Light 2 patch that released quite quietly on February 9, but it packs a big punch: your weapon stash is now bigger: a group bigger. Player “stashes,” where additional items, weapons, and outfits are kept, can now hold up to 250 weapons, up from 50 when the zombie game was first released.
For a review, the latest update actually introduces some pretty significant changes aside from the newly expanded weapon storage space. There is now an option to reset your legend levels, which are part of a new progression system added recently with the 1.9.0 update. If you reached at least legend level 50 in the previous version of the game, you can now reset that progress once per save.
The patch also fixes a bug that kept the Nvidia Reflex option enabled, which could cause performance issues on some systems. Also fixed a bug that prevented players from launching Dying Light 2 from Windows 7, which is fine, but come on folks. Is time.

Game Updates:
- Added “Reset Legend Levels” option. Players who reached at least legend level 50 in the previous version of the game can now reset their progress once per save.
- Fixed an issue with the NVIDIA Reflex option always being “ON”, which could cause performance hits on some PC configurations
- Fixed an issue with X13 Story Quest blocking access when joining a co-op session right before the quest ends.
- Fixed issue with dynamic competition frequency settings. Selecting “OFF” in the options menu will now save correctly when selected
- Fixed issue with Bloody Anniversary Charm missing inventory icon
- Player reserve inventory space has been increased to 250 weapon item slots.
- Fixed the issue that prevented the game from launching on Windows 7 platforms
Developer Tools Updates:
- More consistent ordering of project lists
- Fixed projects not opening after moving game file to another drive on Steam
- Fixed crash when clicking track in dialog editor timeline
- Fixed docked windows size inversion
- Fixed missing GPUfx emitters on the city map
- Fixed a crash when editing materials for terrain.
- The user can now also remove the few fixed materials for the terrain.
- Brushes are no longer copied between maps
- Fixed a crash when opening Developer Tools in the Epic Games Store
