A new one has been confirmed Downloadable Content For Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotand players will soon be able to relive the story of the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament of dragonball original.
Released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2020, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot told the legendary story of Son Goku and his friends throughout the beloved Dragon Ball Z anime through a mix of RPG character development and combat action.
An update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S was released in January this year. Additionally, Bandai has promised several DLC expansions for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which pick up famous storylines from other Dragon Ball movies and series.
The first of these expansion packs was released in April 2020 and featured characters and transformations from the 2013 film Battle of Gods. Subsequently, the Dragon Ball Z: Kakaot DLC adapted Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F and added brought players into the dark alternate future seen in The Story of Trunks and Dragon Ball Super.
Finally, a third DLC pack for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was released last month, in which players take control of Bardock, Goku’s father, in a prequel to the main Dragon Ball story.
Now, Namco Bandai has just confirmed the new expansion for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Titled “Chaos at the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament,” this new story is based on the Dragon Ball World Tournament arc, in which a teenaged Goku battles Piccolo.
Screenshots of Goku and Piccolo in battle have been released as part of this Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC announcement, and Bandai Namco promises that more information will be revealed in this month’s V Jump magazine.
