Shooting game fans have become accustomed to a gaming standard in recent years. Every PC game that has come out in recent years has had an FOV slider that gamers can adjust to suit their monitor. Now, Atomic Heart could be considered a shooter by most standards, even though it’s a single-player experience. Since you’ll have to fight hundreds of robots left and right that can be revived, it would be helpful to see them when they return for round two. So, does Atomic Heart have an FOV slider for PC players with very wide screens? You can find the answer below.

Is there an FOV slider in Atomic Heart?

Unfortunately, there is no FOV slider in Atomic Heart. PC gamers will stick with this low FOV unless they use third-party software or modify game files to fix the problem. At first glance, Atomic Heart’s field of view is around 80.

This can prove very detrimental in some of the bigger battles Atomic Heart will throw at you. Once you experience the game’s open world, robots will have the option of being revived by smaller maintenance robots. If you’re fighting another robot while these support enemies are coming, you might not see them due to the small field of view.

FOV sliders aren’t the only issues the game faces on the back end, as PC cards will also suffer from mouse acceleration and a lack of ray tracing. Mouse acceleration is forced and there is no way to disable it. This means that most of the time you will miss your shots because your aim will move too much. At least they had Jensen Ackles in the trailer.
