Blizzard has created an anticipation for Diablo IV. This time the developers have used stunning artwork to advertise their next game, which they have placed on the walls of an ancient historic cathedral.
Blizzard doesn’t disappoint when it comes to advertising its greatest hits. This time the developers, as part of the Diablo IV beta tests which are fast approaching, have offered us a truly impressive campaign to promote the title.
devil’s cathedral
For the purposes of the marketing campaign. completely restored and decorated the interior of one of the old French churches. The former cathedral Chapelle des Jésuites in Cambrai has been “decorated” with numerous motifs and references to future work in the world of the Sanctuary.
We assure you – the action advertising Diablo IV it does not bear the mark of sacrilege, since the church building has been desecrated for some time, that is, it does not serve as an official temple.
Interestingly, however, the church in question is still on the historic landmarks list, which means the creators weren’t able to paint Diablo IV designs directly onto the building. Therefore, murals were created on the walls and ceiling of the old cathedral.

The artwork, which was first created on canvas and then transferred to the walls of the ancient temple, depicts the five character classes of Diablo IV, who battle the forces of evil.

Hectic work pace
It should be mentioned that for this impressive project, a total of 20 unique paintings were created, which together form a mural almost 50 meters long.
The job was in charge of artist Adam Miller, who along with his team completed the job in just 30 days. As Miller notes, “the scale and pace of the work was a little crazy.”
