During the Diablo 4 closed beta test, fans immediately pointed out that legendary items appeared in exceptional abundance, comparable to what you’d see while playing Diablo 3. Such rich loot contrasted with what the developers had said that Legendary items would be available in more limited quantities.
Related to the issue, user Uknown Fool asked on Twitter if, in fact, the Legendary item drop rate was increased specifically for the Diablo 4 beta. The answer was provided by Rod Fergusson:
“Legendary item drops are further scaled to reflect a richer experience and allow for better testing during beta.”
It’s the kind of thing that some fans expected and, among other things, in the comments on Wow you could see the surprise that anyone could ask about this.. However, with such a high drop, it was feared that Diablo 4 players would literally be inundated with legendaries, as is the case with Diablo 3. Many expected a change in the new installment in the series.
The open testing phase has already started and will last until March 27 (Monday) at 8:00 p.m. CET. Interested persons are invited to read our article with all the most important information.
