Bungie took the destiny 2 servers in preparation for the 7.0.0.1 update and the launch of the Lightfall expansion tomorrow. The servers are now down and won’t be back online until Lightfall is released, but the good news is that the 7.0.0.1 update and its patch notes were released earlier.

What time will the Destiny 2 servers be back online?

Destiny 2 Lightfall will launch at 9am PT / 12pm ET on February 28 and that’s when the servers will come back online. However, update 7.0.0.1 is available to download right now, but it will take up 102.5 GB on PS5. PS4 players will need 184.84GB of free space to preload the update, but that will drop to 88.21GB when it launches tomorrow.

Update 7.0.0.1. The patch notes include all new gameplay features that will be added tomorrow, as well as bug fixes. These include the new Guardian Ranks and Seasonal Engrams progression system, changes to the difficulty of various game modes like Vanguard Ops, and an updated currency system. Changes have also been made to account for new additions to Lightfall, such as the new Strand subclass. Unfortunately, other highly anticipated features like LFG matchmaking won’t arrive until later this year.
