With the introduction of armor synthesis in season 14 of Destiny 2, which starts in May 2021, a lot of player wishes have come true, because armor synthesis is the transmogrification system of Bungie’s loot shooter.

What the heroes of WoW have been able to do for years, the keepers of Destiny 2 will finally be able to do in late spring 2021: create their own look that they like, with any piece of armor that is in their collection.

And in addition, the new appearance screen provides you with a convenience function as the icing on the cake!

What is Armor Synthesis?

Destiny 2’s transformation system is called Armor Synthesis and works as follows. Every season you can pick up all sorts of forays at Ada-1 that involve a wide variety of activities.

For completing the quests, you will receive materials with which you can charge Ada’s spindle. This in turn can transform EVERY piece of armor from the collection into a permanent, universal ornament. Alternatively, the wealthy players can also buy synthesis tokens with silver.

Once you’ve got the ornament, you’ll see it in your Keeper’s new Appearance screen. Any ornament ends up there and can be managed by you.

You will also find the shaders there, and recently you can also color all of the pieces of equipment you have created in the colors of a shader with a single click.

By the way, at the start of Season 14 you will receive a small starting supply of synthesis materials if you complete the seasonal introquest. You can find the information on the official website for Destiny 2.
