After some clues and rumors, Xbox confirmed what many were waiting for: Death Stranding will reach its ecosystem through PC Game Pass. This means that users of the service on computers or Ultimate subscribers will be able to enjoy it in a few days at no additional cost.

Kojima Productions and 505 Games, the game’s publisher, confirmed that Windows 10 and 11 users will be able to experience Sam Porter’s Bridges adventure with support for widescreen monitors, high frame rates per second, and full photo mode. Through a statement, the studios revealed the date and time the title will be released on the service.

When is Death Stranding coming to PC Game Pass?

It is necessary to clarify that the Kojima game will only come to PC Game Pass, so it will not be available for the console service. That being said, you should know that the game will be released on the PC service on August 23, that is, on Tuesday of next week.

505 Games confirmed that it will release Death Stranding at 7:00 PM Mexico City time. If you plan to take a look at it, we recommend reviewing the minimum and recommended requirements to be able to enjoy it. For now, support has not been confirmed to be able to play it through the cloud.

Players will have access to the original version of the game, which includes the same content and features as the Steam version and the Epic Games Store. So it will also be possible to obtain Half-Life and Cyberpunk 2077 themed content.

“We are truly very excited to welcome more of you to this wonderfully active community (…) Bringing Kojima Productions’ award-winning Death Stranding to PC Game Pass is incredibly exciting for everyone involved,” said 505 Games.
