Following the success of the Dead Space remake, EA seems interested in player feedback on the similar treatment of the other two games.
The survival-horror genre in a science fiction context seems to have regained great popularity lately: The Callisto protocol, although full of flaws, was an opportunity for players to show their interest in this very particular genre, and the new version of Dead Space previously released. This year, it was very well received, both by players and critics. In short, there always seems to be an audience for these kinds of games, and Electronic Arts seems to be aware of it, to the point that it could continue its momentum.
Dead Space Remake: EA is laying the groundwork for the sequel
Indeed, if the first Dead Space is for many gamers the best of the series, the fact remains that a remake of Dead Space 2 and potentially Dead Space 3 could also appeal to many gamers. To test the waters, EA was able to send out a survey to many gamers, which included the following questions: ” Would you be interested in a similar remake for Dead Space 2? ” Afterwards ” Would you be interested in a similar remake of Dead Space 3?“. Something to indicate that the publisher is thinking about the idea, which seems quite obvious given the success of the remake.

This method of offering surveys to players about potential new projects is quite common in the industry and is regularly used by some publishers. : Atlus, for example, is one of those publishers who constantly ask players for their opinion (without listening to them all the time), just like Nintendo. It’s a good way for industry players to be aware of player expectations. Either way, these questions indicate that EA is considering new versions of Dead Space.
