A wonderful surprise for fans of zombie games: Dead Island 2’s release date has been brought forward an entire week, as developer Dambuster Studios announces that the long-awaited sequel has finally gone gold and is now coming to PC and Epic Games Store Seven. days before, although we are still awaiting news of the Dead Island 2 Steam release.
Previously, Dead Island 2’s release date was set for April 28, but Dambuster has now announced that the game will release a week earlier.
He Dead Island 2 for PC is now set to launch on April 21with Dambuster sharing a new trailer announcing the new date.
As the screen is covered in fan comments like “when are you going to release the game?” and “are you ever going to release this game?” an extremely confident voice steps in to proudly announce “absolutely”.
Set in over-the-top versions of San Francisco and Los Angeles, Dead Island 2 aims to enhance the gore of the zombie genre with enhanced dismemberment and, for lack of a better phrase, a fusion system. Slice a zombie with an ax and you can see how the blade slices through flesh and bone. Throw acid on them and they will crumble before your eyes.
