During the recent Nintendo Direct, Motion Twin and Evil Empire unveiled a new trailer for Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania. The next DLC based on Konami’s classic series will be released on March 6 on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
The trailer sees The Beheaded meet Richter Belmont, who asks for his help, and it’s not long before Alucard (in style) joins them.
There are two new biomes in Dracula’s Castle and 14 new weapons based on the Castlevania franchise, including the Vampire Assassin, Throwing Axe, and more.
The fights against Dracula and Death are also briefly shown, and they both look amazing.
The highlight, however, is the reimagined Vampire Killer-themed soundtrack. The DLC includes 51 Castlevania themes, including 12 revamped in a Dead Cells style. Pricing has not been announced, so we’ll have to wait for more details.
