Red Hook Studios is pleased to announce this great fan favorite character, Vestalwill join the fray as part of the latest update to the Early Access version of Darkest Dungeon II‘Do not suffer from sin‘. Available later today on the Epic Games Store, this latest content update brings the total number of playable characters to eleven. Darkest Dungeon II It will end its Early Access version on May 8, and its 1.0 version will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The full version of the game will contain a dozen playable heroes, five regions, five final bosses, and the permanent leveling system called “Altar of Hope”.
The character Vestal it has gained versatility over the original Darkest Dungeon, and now acts more like a “tank-healer” and is also capable of inflicting significant damage to the most distant enemy positions. Vestal’s healing abilities are tied directly to his Conviction, which also allows him to hit enemies harder as their Conviction grows. Vestal’s full abilities can be unlocked by discovering her backstory at the Shrines of Reflection.
Darkest Dungeon II It launched in Early Access via the Epic Games Store in October 2021 and has seen a steady cadence of impactful updates ever since. The sequel to the famous darkest dungeon expands on the previous concept with incredible 3D visual techniques and a road trip-based “race” system that energizes the experience without sacrificing the complexity of its systems.
