The job posting is for an unsolicited application to gauge interest in joining CD Projekt Red’s new studio in Boston to work on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. They ask applicants to submit their resume, which will remain confidential as per guidelines of the EEO.
As previously reported, this sequel is codenamed Project Orion and will follow the Phantom Liberty expansion for the original game. It was announced around the same time as the wonderful anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix, causing an influx of new players to try out the game.
According to the product perspective description, the sequel appears to be a direct sequel to the first game and will not be some kind of spin-off or DLC.
