Instead of simply reconstructing the gadget with a 3D printer, as is often the case nowadays, the Youtuber Dharma Adnyana takes a more classic approach and builds it from wood, a broken umbrella, some beverage cans and an empty roll of packaging tape.

To use the replica, you don’t need bionically improved arms first. Instead, they are attached to your wrist with a fairly simple device. They are still functional to a certain extent.
While the blades are close to the wrist in the starting position, they can be extended. This is done with the help of some rubber bands and a ring on the middle finger. If you turn your hand down, the knives pop out.
The Youtuber himself does not specialize in corresponding gaming projects, but shows the production of some other DIY works on his channel, including a kettle, a taser gun and the hidden blade from Assassin’s Creed.
Not the first replica: Incidentally, it is not the first project of this kind. Last December, Youtuber Thea Ulrich presented her own version of the legendary Mantis blades.
