Presented for a very long time as a graphic reference on PC, Crysis has come back to the fore with a remaster. Today, we learn via Digital Foundry that the title has been optimized on PS5 and Xbox Series.

Today, Crytek has uploaded a new update for Crysis Remastered. Foundry was able to do some tests Digital Foundry was able to do some tests with the latter, and indicates that the title runs well in 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, even if the analysis reveals a framerate that can be unstable in this quality mode and that 1440p 30 fps mode works better. On the side of the S Series, Digital Foundry indicates that they have a preference for Ray Tracing mode, which allows un framerate stable en 1080 30 fps. Unfortunately, the site says it was unable to try the patch on PS5.

Also note that this is a patch that works via backward compatibility, and that the title does not currently have native versions on the new consoles. Beyond the technical part, this patch fixes many bugs and allows integration of the Ascension mission on consoles. To locate the level of this update, we are told that it is relatively close to patch 2.1, released on PC not long ago.
