Chronos continues to build on its side-scrolling multiplayer action gameplay by adding a new crafting system. Players can now trade rare in-game resources with the Shady Merchant and craft NFT items!
Since launching in open beta earlier this year, Chronos has continued to develop and expand its game, adding new game modes, new maps, messaging system, tournaments, new biomes, and more. And their latest release offers players the ability to create NFTs for games!
To craft, players must visit the Shady Merchant in town. There, players can trade the resources they find in the game for various items. However, The Shady Merchant is finicky. Its inventory changes constantly, and it will even offer different options to different players! Rumor has it that owning a Traveler NFT will grant access to exclusive recipes.
Players will also have to pay a small amount in gems to craft new items. Gems are the in-game currency. And aside from the need to buy gems, everything else needed to craft items is obtained in-game. Active players can even take advantage of them in-game to earn opportunities by earning gems. resources, by creating NFTs and selling them on the markets!

Crafting items on Chronos
Additionally, Chronos is offering an exclusive, free NFT mint for its beta testers. Submit a request ticket on your Discord server with screenshots of your in-game stats and you could receive one of three special items. But this opportunity is only open for a limited time. Submit your ticket by March 12 at 7 p.m. CST!
What is Chronos?
Chronos is a free-to-play, multiplayer, side-scrolling role-playing game. Players share a central social hub with shops, crafting stations and more. They then venture through the portal to join a match. Chronos offers several game modes, including team PvP, survival arena PvE, and a mixed PvE/PvP mode.
Players can earn crafting resources and Dark Aether Tokens by playing matches. But each character has limited energy, which slowly recharges over time. Players can spend crystals to improve their character’s stats and spend skill points acquired in-game to upgrade and customize their characters with special abilities.
Avatars start out naked, but can equip various weapons and armor. A few initial quests help provide the player with basic gear. However, this equipment wears out with use and there is no possibility of repairing it. On the other hand, NFT items do not wear out, which makes them very useful!
Travelers are the NFT avatars of the game and come with stat boosts and other bonuses.
