Today, March 12, marks the debut of the port of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on PS5Xbox Series S and X and Nintendo Switch. In addition to reaching the new generation and the Nintendo handheld , the game also comes to the PC a little later, on March 26th.

In PS5 and Xbox Series X to Activision promises that the game runs at 60fps at 4K resolution native. Going to the Xbox Series S, the game is in 4K too, but using upscale. On the Switch, the settings fall, and the producer did not disclose on what specifications it runs.

Specific features bring compatibility with DualSense to take advantage of the new features of the controller on the PS5, as well as support for activity cards on the new Sony console, to help visualize progress and jump directly to a certain part of the game.

On the Xbox Series S and X the difference is due to Smart Delivery , which allows you to buy the game once and play on any model of Xbox, with the system automatically downloading the correct version of the game compatible with the console.

Along with the ports, the year 2021 marks the mascot’s 25th anniversary. To “celebrate”, the game will provide a new skin for Crash and Coco, called Bare Bones, which looks like a fun “X-ray”. The producer says it is a “tribute” to the number of lives the character has already lost over the years in his challenging games.

The game is on sale on PSN and Xbox Live, for $29.25 and $29.26, respectively. In the Nintendo Switch eShop, it can already be found costing US $40.

As stated earlier, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will make its PC debut on March 26th. When the game receives the port, it will only be available on Battle.net. Activision has yet to speak of any predictions for taking the game to other stores on the computer.
