It’s been more than two years since Eric Baron (also known as ConcernedApe) will release update 1.5 for Stardew Valley, the biggest in its history since the title saw the light of day in 2016, and which added many new features to the quintessential farm title . THE Ginger Islands they further expanded the history, cultures, objects, and decorations we could interact with on our Pelican Town farm. Since then, Barone has left care of the valley to others, while he worked alone (once again) on his next project, Haunted Chocolatier.
Despite this, Barone never strayed too far from Stardew Valley. Earlier this year, it collaborated to release update 1.5 to its mobile version, then spent days updating it and fixing bugs. All this always in direct communication with the fans via Twitter. And it was through his account that he announced this afternoon that he was going to take a short break at Haunted Chocolatier (of which we still know little) to announce that will release Stardew Valley update 1.6.
This update focuses on adding tools and facilities for modders of the game, but it will also add New content. In any case, he already warns us that we should not expect as many changes as those introduced by the previous update. At the moment he has not given a release date for this new content, but we hope it will be soon. We will keep you informed of any news.
