CoD: Black Ops Cold War: First preview of Season 4 – what is already known

Treyarch and Raven Software are preparing the release of the Season 3 Reloaded Update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone: The activation is expected to take place on Thursday. As part of the update, the developers play new content – both for the multiplayer and battle royale part.

For example, we recently reported on the weapon adjustments that are due with Update 3.5. In addition, the zombies mode gets new content, including the first Outbreak main quest.

The developers are already working in the background on Season 4, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in a few weeks’ time and Warzone is likely to start. In the current blog entry, Treyarch gives a first look at the features and content planned for the zombies mode that will come into play with the next season.

For season 4, for example, the next turn-based zombies map is due to be released. The map is timed to play after the events of the Outbreak main quests. “The team was already working on this card before the release of Firebase Z – and we want to ensure a great experience before you can let off steam,” write the developers.

Anyway, new content for zombies in Call of Duty: Black ops Cold War is also in the works for the following seasons. In addition, players can prepare for new perks, wonder weapons, support weapons, time-limited modes and new Dark Aether Intel.

“Thank you for your patience while we are working on the next map. We hope you have a great time with all the content that is appearing in the meantime,” comment the developers. The creators add that the new content does not necessarily have to appear on the start day of a new season.

A lot of content would be added over the course of the seasons. This probably also applies to the new zombies map, which Treyarch has so far explicitly announced for a release in the course of the coming season.
