Clash of Clans

This weekend is held the Clashfest, an event organized by Supercell around its games of the same name like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. It’s a festival whose goal is to celebrate the games around the biggest Clash event of the year by mobilizing its players. As a reminder, Clash of Clans is a mobile game released in 2012 where the player must build and evolve his village. An online mode exists, where clan wars take place and during which players must destroy the opposing village. Four years later, Clash Royale came out offering a different way of playing. Players will find some of the iconic characters that they will have to use to invade the opposing towers in a 2D game in top view. Successful titles that mobilize many players who can expect many gifts during this ClashFest. Yuri Yoshimura, Product Marketing at Supercell, explains it:

This month-long party contains a ton of challenges and rewards, and we hope that the Clash festival will find something for every player. With these local parties, fans can get together and watch the World Finals together. It’s a chance they may not have had yet, especially after two years of the pandemic.

Unfortunately, these “challenges and rewards”have not yet been clarified by Supercell.

Indeed, the communities of the two titles will be able to meet in physics to celebrate this ClashFest from September 23 to 25 (09:00 to 02:00). In France, the city of Paris has been selected to broadcast the finals of the world championships for each game: meet at Melt Down, 33 Bd Richard-Lenoir, 75011 Paris. The finals are located in Helsinki where the best Clash players in the world will compete to win a part of the $1 million prize.

This festival therefore promises to bring together the players of the different Clash games in physical but also in a virtual way. Supercell indicates that an eSports platform, dedicated to the finals of the Clash of Clans and Clash Royale League Championships will be set up. A sort of Watch Party where players will be able to watch the finals of both games in multiple languages while interacting with others and parties. On this subject, players will also be able to answer questions as well as predict the winners : the correct answers will allow them to have points which will be converted into their favorite games to grant them rewards such as gems and a tower skin.
