In an out-of-the-box surprise, Activision has revealed that Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be making its way to Obligation in a few weeks. Shredder, also known as the villainous Oroku Saki, will arrive on March 21, though it’s unclear how he’ll fit into the game.
Shredder is probably a skin, but could be a Warzone boss

The new 15-second preview showing off the Shredder’s armor and his evil laugh at the end doesn’t say much about what players should expect. It’s probably just a skin for an operator in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone, like Rambo, John McClane, Judge Dredd and Leatherface before him. But it’s possible it’s a Warzone boss. Granted, he wouldn’t be as gigantic as King Kong or Godzilla in a previous community event, but he would make a formidable commander in the field.
This revelation from Shredder could also point to a TMNT crossover event of some kind. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo would also be great skins for Call of Duty. In fact, in 2021, Warzone added the sai as a weapon in Season 5 Reloaded, which inspired some fans in the CoD community on Reddit to create a Ninja Turtles squad challenge.
Sony has suggested future Call of Duty games may have deliberate bugs on PS5 and PS4, while Microsoft insists its possible merger with Activision won’t persuade PlayStation gamers to switch to Xbox.
