A major update seems to be pending for Call of Duty Warzone. The fact that the developers of Treyarch and Raven Software are working on changes and innovations now also suggests the bad weather on Verdansk.
Players have seen dark storm clouds and flashes of lightning on the current Warzone map. Even single snowflakes can sometimes be observed, as reported by the ModernWarzone portal, which specializes in leaks and data mining.
It is likely that a huge storm is likely to develop here, which will bring a number of changes for Warzone.
Recently, for example, there was always speculation about a new map that could be introduced together with the start of Season 2 for the Battle Royale shooter. In addition, the first anniversary of the Battle Royale shooter is due in March – another potential date for drastic changes to Warzone.
The map is supposed to play in a snow-covered Ural Mountains, based on the locations of current multiplayer maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The Charlie Intel website suspects that the approaching thunderstorm on Verdansk could also be an indication that a dynamic weather system will arrive at Warzone with Season 2 – the new season begins on February 24th.
Another theory: the storm brings zombies to Call of Duty Warzone. The fact that Treyarch and Raven Software might be planning a zombie event for the BR shooter was recently suggested by a computer that suddenly appeared and that players know from the zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The future will show which of the speculations will ultimately come true. We’ll keep you up to date in our news area.
