Made official in images on May 24, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is talking about its last days again: the multiplayer mode may be unveiled very late…
A belated multiplayer beta?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is eagerly awaited by players, but unfortunately unlike previous opuses which had communicated very early on the multiplayer mode, there is a good chance that this new opus will decide to take its time from this side there, a bit like the beta version which will be unveiled very late.
Remember, while players expected to see the game’s multiplayer beta land in August, a lot of information shared by RalphValve indicated that the beta would finally start sometime in September.
- PlayStation Early Access : 15 et 16 septembre
- PlayStation Open Beta: September 17-19
- Crossplay Early Access: September 22 – 23
- Crossplay Open Beta: September 24-26
A presentation the day before?
Just like for the beta, Activision would also take its time to present the multiplayer part of the title, despite the fact that we already know some details about the arrival of a Ranked mode. In any case, that’s what Tom Henderson says: according to the journalist – always with very concrete information –, the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be revealed the day before the launch of the different beta phases, around September 10.
Of course, all this information should be taken with a grain of salt since neither Activision nor Infinity Ward have yet communicated on these subjects.
