As the Season 2 Reloaded update for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 progresses, Activision and Infinity Ward have scheduled a Free Access Weekend starting Thursday, March 16. This free part of MW2 does not include the entire online pack, but new content is featured.
Thankfully, Modern Warfare 2’s first “all-new” 6v6 map will be playable, along with five other arenas from MW2’s core multiplayer. Eight game modes will also be introduced, including series mainstays Team Deathmatch and Domination.
The first raid in the game will also be available when the team adds a co-op action game to this free access weekend. The Modern Warfare 2 trial expires on Monday, March 20.
In other somewhat Call of Duty-related news, Microsoft and Sony apparently aren’t close to reaching an agreement on the franchise’s future under Xbox ownership, should the Activision Blizzard deal go through. Read all about it below.
