Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War- Outbreak mode confirmed, hints deleted afterwards
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is apparently facing a major update. The rumors about a huge outbreak mode for the zombies variant in the current first-person shooter seem to be confirmed.
As reported by several Twitter users, information on the new game mode was briefly seen both on the website and in the app for the game. As reported by the user “Okami”, for example, the details appeared for around 30 minutes until they were finally removed again.
With this, publisher Activision has the outbreak mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (buy now € 53.99) leaked in advance. The responsible employee may have pressed the button for the publication of the contributions too prematurely.
However, it can be assumed that the mode will be officially introduced shortly. In our news area we will of course keep you up to date. A trailer was also included in the contributions, but it could not be played.
“Welcome to Outbreak – a new, large-scale zombies experience,” reads the now deleted posts. It is believed that the mode will be launched together with Season 2 – the new season is announced for February 25th. Leaks for the outbreak variant have already appeared in the past few days.
Players found evidence of an event between Cold War and Warzone. In Warzone, for example, there were picture disturbances and a sudden thunderstorm with lightning and even light snowfall. In Outbreak, according to the leaks, you’re on the fire troop maps in PvE – and take on hordes of zombies.
It is also conceivable that Outbreak will come as the new open world for the Battle Royale shooter.
