Officially released on February 25, Season 2 of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone debuted with a huge new zombie map called Outbreak, six brand-new free weapons, four multiplayer maps, and Warzone POIs; plus other new features.
Treyarch commented that after Season 2 and its update, some players were going to encounter “occasional performance issues” but were already working on fixes for all platforms. Last Thursday they began to arrive on PlayStation consoles and, shortly after, they were released on Xbox One.
The update will also be released shortly on Xbox Series X/S and presumably on PC as well. It includes “a bunch of stability issues fixes ” for Outbreak and returns the Prop Hunt to featured playlists. We will be waiting for it to be announced for the whole world.
Right now, the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 2 bug that prevents launching the game on consoles and PC is still active for some, but an equal solution is expected for all players.
Have you suffered a problem with the game? We hope that everything can be ready and smooth this weekend.
