To celebrate the arrival of the Root of Nightmares raid in Destiny 2: Eclipse, Bungie will be joining Twitch Rivals on next March 10 to follow players participating in the first world race of Destiny 2: Eclipse. Twitch drops will be available throughout the event for users to earn an exclusive emblem by watching the competition.
This new raid will be available on from 6 p.m. (peninsular time) this Friday, March 10. In it, the Guardians will face an ancient threat from an unknown location and time. Competitive mode will be activated at the start of Nightmare Root and for 48 hours. Teams that wish to participate and earn rewards must complete the raid within this time frame. In addition to all this, they must also meet certain requirements:
- Player power will be limited to 20 points below the difficulty of each encounter, being 1780 the maximum level power.
- The first team to complete all matches, open the last chest and return to orbit, will win the prestigious title of World First. Each of the six members of this team will receive one of our World Firsts belts.
- Players who complete the Raid in Competitive mode and claim the corresponding Triumph in-game within the first 48 hours will receive an exclusive emblem.
- Competitive mode will be enabled in the raid for 48 hours, from the start of the raid at 6:00 p.m. PT until Sunday the 12th at 5:59 p.m. PT.
Although players who complete the raid before March 21 will also have a prize: access to the exclusive raid jacket. Plus, the corresponding raid pin that will be available throughout the Season of Resistance.
