Blizzard is working on Warcraft for Mobile Phones

Now Blizzard Entertainment has also confirmed the development of a mobile offshoot of Warcraft. A job posting can be found on the company’s website looking for a 3D Environment Artist for a Warcraft Mobile that has not been terminated. But there are not many details.

Just recently, the CEO of Activision Blizzard hinted at several Warcraft Free2Play titles for iOS and Android. The Blizzard team also announced some time ago that they would like to bring numerous brands of the studio to the mobile market in the future.

Later this year, Diablo: Immortal will be the first major project from this initiative to appear here. Only a few days ago there were new details about the mobile Diablo as part of BlizzConline. Blizzard has not yet revealed a firm release for the game.

Warcraft’s mobile offshoot also seems to have been in development for a while. An employee of the company on Twitter revealed that he spent most of his time at Blizzard on a mobile project. The 3D artist has been employed since 2016. We’ll keep you updated on new details about the game.

Blizzard used BlizzConline last weekend to present news about Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, World of Warcraft and Hearthstone. Among other things, Diablo fans could look forward to the return of the Slayer class and a look at the PvP part of Diablo 4.
